The most convenient options for traveling to and from Dublin Airport:

Dublin Airlink Express offers is a fast and direct service from Dublin Airport for just €6 each way. Stopping at Parnell Square & O’Connell Street, Hotel 7 is less than 5 minutes walk away.

Aircoach also offers direct access to the city, stopping on O’Connell Street. Hotel 7 is a 5-minute walk back up the street. Go straight through the junction with Parnell Street until you reach Great Denmark Street on your right.

There is a regular supply of taxis available outside the terminal buildings at Dublin Airport.

Driving Directions from Dublin Airport:

• Leaving the airport, follow signs for the M1/N1 motorway to Dublin City.
• Go straight ahead for 7km until you get to the junction of Dorset Steer Lower and Temple Street North.
• Turn left down Temple Street.
• At the next traffic lights turn right onto Great Denmark Street.
• Hotel 7 is on your right.

On-street parking surrounds Hotel 7, available at both Great Denmark Street and North Great Georges St. The hourly Dublin City meter parking rate is around €3-4 per hour.

The DART

The DART is one of the most convenient ways to travel around Dublin. Consider using the DART which is the best way to explore Howth, Dun Laoghaire, and Greystones for your day trip.

Connolly and Tara Street stations are just a 15-minute walk away, followed by:

• 15-minute train journey to Howth
• 25-minute train journey to Dun Laoghaire
• 55-minute train journey to Greystones

LUAS

Our closest Luas station is on O’Connell Street, just a 5-minute walk away. From here, you can zip around Dublin, with stops on the Green Line including Trinity, St. Stephen’s Green, Ranelagh & even Dundrum for a day of shopping. The Red Line stops at the National Museum, Smithfield, Jervis, Connolly Station and The Point, where our famous 3Arena is based.

In terms of sustainability, the Luas qualifies as being extremely environmentally friendly. Not only is the Luas powered entirely by electricity, but it also produces less noise and air pollution than other forms of public transport.
